Ordering online

Select the items you would like to buy and click 'Add to Shopping Bag'. Once you are happy with the content of your shopping bag click on 'Checkout'. You will then be asked to either sign in as an ‘Existing Customer’ or complete the ‘New Customer Registration’ which allows you to create a profile necessary to place orders. Tara Honeywill Vintage China accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron and all other major credit & debit cards. The card issuer will perform the required verification checks and in the event of a card refusal, we will not be liable for non-delivery or delay. Once the payment has been processed will we issue your item(s) and send you an ‘Order Confirmation’ email. This will be followed by a ‘Parcel Number Confirmation’ email to enable you to track the progress of your delivery with our courier My Hermes.

Ordering by phone

You may place your order by phone with Tara Honeywill on 07989 542244 (Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm). Tara Honeywill Vintage China accepts cheques for phone orders made payable to ‘Tara Honeywill’ and sent to the address below. Items will be posted on receipt of the cheque.

Delivery

Free Standard UK Delivery on all orders over £50. Standard UK Delivery £3.95. We aim to deliver all Standard UK orders within 3 - 5 days, Monday - Saturday (excluding bank or public holidays). We will contact you by email with your ‘Parcel Number Confirmation’ as soon as your item has been dispatched. This email will allow you to track the progress of your delivery. A signature is requested on delivery and if you are not in when our courier first tries to deliver they will leave a card and attempt to deliver your parcel two more times. Please follow the instructions on the card left by the courier to arrange redelivery. Alternatively when you place your order online you may request that your parcel be left with a neighbour or in a safe place ensuring that it is delivered to you on the first attempt. We package our china extremely carefully, however in the highly unlikely event that your item(s) arrives damaged please contact us and we will happily refund the full cost of your purchase or send a free replacement. Payment for products and delivery services is to be made in pounds sterling (£). Where you have requested delivery to an EU address, the price paid for the product and the delivery service will include UK VAT. You will be responsible for the payment of any local import duties on receipt of your parcel.

Order Cancellation

We are happy to accept cancellation of your order by telephone prior to despatch of goods. Please contact Tara Honeywill on 07989 542244 (Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm). If your order has already been despatched please follow the procedure set out in Returns Policy. Please note that once an order has been processed we issue a confirmation email.

Returns Policy

For any returns queries please call Tara Honeywill on 07989 542244 (Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm). All items are thoroughly checked before we send them to you and we take the utmost care in packaging our china to keep it safe in transit. If for any reason you would like to return your order please follow the procedure below. The item(s) must be returned within 14 days of receipt of the merchandise in a re-saleable condition and with all packaging. It is the customer’s responsibility to return the item(s). We recommend that you return the goods via Recorded delivery. We will not be able to refund any items that are lost in transit back to us. If the item you have received is faulty or broken we will also refund postage and the cost of your return postage. On receipt of the returned items we will arrange an exchange or refund. Please enclose a note with the returned items to specify which you require. All returns must be sent to the following address:

Quality & colour disclaimer

Tara thoroughly checks every piece of china, she is very stringent about this and only selects china in excellent condition despite its age. No piece will ever be chipped or cracked, however as many items are antique they may display slight imperfections associated with the manufacturing process of the time. Due to the limitations and the relative inconsistencies of various display monitors, the colours you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual product. We strive to make our colours as accurate as possible, but screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct.

Provenance

Tara carefully hand selects all the china herself and each piece is an original antique or vintage item with many being over 100 years old. Every piece is chosen for its age, design and quality of craftsmanship. Provenance is also of the utmost importance and she likes to source from the prominent British Victorian & Edwardian porcelain factories such as Worcester, Wedgwood and Minton.

Product Care

Much of the china is hand painted and has delicate gilding and is therefore not suitable for modern dishwashers. We would recommend that it is best washed by hand in warm soapy water with a non abrasive cloth.

Privacy

We will never pass on your personal, credit or debit card details to any third party.
